Heartfelt Wednesday

Hi! I feel the spring in the air. It’s still freezing cold, but the sun is up and the birds are singing so I’m happy about that right now. Easter is coming up and we are going to celebrate with family. I’ve done quite a few treat boxes which will be placed on everyone’s plates filled with some yumminess.

Since I want to enhance every tad bit of spring-y feeling I can find I’ve worked with beautiful pastels, starting with the soft colored gorgeous papers in the Vintage Floret Paper Collection. Then I used the many AMAZING butterflies from different collections and colored them in the shades of the paper, cut out and glue down. Done.

Here is the template I used, but there are loads of similar boxes on the net too. If you want to use it, click the photo to get the actual size before printing it.

My second project this week is a card using one of the beautiful scenery stamps from the Sweet Serenity Collection. I adore the flower corners of this paper from the Posy Patch Paper Collection and I thought I’d try to make it shine on the card.

Well Preserved

Hi! Happy Monday!

I made a tag pocket birthday card for today’s The Rubber Cafe post. The tag is well hidden…

You are well preserved 1

…but it’s there! Simply lift the lid.

You are well preserved 2

I adore this Mini Jar stamp. It’s super cute and I really like that the jar and the lid are separated in two stamps.

I also used a stamp from the Card Labels set and the sentiments are from the Fruit Medley set.

You are well preserved 3

I used some Kool Tak Foam Tape to make the pocket and to adhere the panel to the card base. Gives some nice dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Kraft + Black = ♥

Hi! Happy Monday! I have two cards for The Rubber Cafe to share today. I’ve been playing with Kraft cardstock and a few stamps. Love the Kraft and black combo!

Kraft 1

I used the same background stamp for both cards – the Pattern Royale. And the flowers are made with the Rose Creations Die from Spellbinders. I stamped the paper with Script Background first.

Heartfelt Wednesday

Hi!

For today’s Heartfelt Creations post I made a decorated frame. I thought of my grandparent’s summer house where I spent part of my summers as a child when I did this. We played in the fields, drank milk from the cows and fought the flies. It was magic. This little frame would fit perfect on the whitewashed wood walls in the hall or kitchen. :)

Vintage frame

The frame is colored with gesso. Gesso makes stamping, embossing and coloring easy, like on paper.

Double page layout about Visby

Hi! TGIF!

I don’t know how long I will be working today, but I know when this day ends the first ever National test in History for grade 6 in Sweden will be done and on it’s way to Stockholm and the Agency of Education for printing and distribution.

That feels good.:)

Here is a page I’ve been working on for some time. It’s a page about the architecture of the medieval city of Visby. This place is no less than amazing. I used fabulous papers from Webster’s and decorated mainly with roses (since Visby is called city of roses).

Fina Visby

I so love making roses with the Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies. It’s become an addiction. I went a little crazy with the shaping of the leafs. I need better tools. It’s on my wishlist.

Fina Visby detalj

Have a fabulous day!!!
